The UK’s most crowded tourist attraction named

The UK is packed with incredible attractions but some of them might be overcrowded with visitors.

While a Croatian hotspot is the most overcrowded city in Europe, there are a few UK spots that might give it a run for its money.

Research from the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (AVLA) revealed the most visited attractions in 2022.

Perhaps unsurprisingly for the Platinum Jubilee year, it was a royal hotspot that topped 2022’s list.

The Big Smoke also dominated the list making it one of the trickiest places in the UK to avoid crowds.

The Crown Estate at Windsor topped the list of most popular tourist attractions, with over 5.5 million people visiting in 2022.

Tourists can wander the gardens of one of the Royal Family’s favourite estates,although there might not be much space among the other visitors.

London’s Natural History Museum took second place on the list and is particularly popular with families.

It topped the list of indoor attractions with an incredible 4.6 million people visiting each year to see its collection.

While the museum has many amazing exhibits, tourists could try visiting one of London’s lesser-known spots.

The Horniman Museum also has an impressive natural history collection, including an unusual walrus, and far fewer visitors.

In 2022, it was announced as the Art Fund Museum of the Year and even has stunning views of London.
