A surprising amenity that’s growing at certain luxury resorts around the world is not bath products or your sheets thread counts. It’s chickens, and goats, and vegetables and orchards. In other words, farm life.

And it’s surprising how many travelers are interested — eager — to tour and even pitch in at these working farms, a sort of multi-acre answer to the rooftop gardens and living walls at urban hotels.
