Thorpe Park to open new rollercoaster-themed cabins with stays from £79
The summer holidays are almost here are parents across Britain are scrambling for plans. Many of us want to make incredible memories with our children before they head back to school.
Plus, it’s a mega bonus if we get to have some fun at the same time. For this reason, theme parks right here in the UK are often a great choice for a fun day out of the house.
If you want to make a weekend of it, thrill seekers can even stay overnight at the resorts attached to the parks. Thorpe Park’s has now even introduced fun new themed cabin rooms based on their biggest rollercoasters to enhance your staycation.

The new themed rooms are based on the thrilling rides The Swarm, Nemesis Inferno and Stealth. You’ll be able to start booking a stay in them when they launch this month. The rooms are located just off the shores of the island meaning you're in the middle of the action.
The rollercoaster rooms will contain everything from previously unseen ride concept art – that’s the drawings and mock ups created by rollercoaster designers before the rides are created. Pluss, hidden secrets about the featured rides.
Nemesis is the park’s inverted rollercoaster which has all of us screaming at 50mp, Stealth is the UK’s fastest rollercoaster at 80mph and The Swarm is a winged ride reaching 62mph.
If you book a stay in the new themed cabins it will also come with park access for two days and unlimited Fastrack on your second day for the ride your room represents. Plus, one hour of Fastback on all rides from 10am to 11am on your second park day.
You’ll also bag a buffet breakfast and in-room coffee while staying as well as free parking. An evening quiz in the Vibes Bar & Kitchen will be free to enter and has great prizes.
Plus you get 10% off all snacks and merch in the shops around Thorpe Park. The Thorpe Park site stated: "Quirky, compact and comfy – head back to your own personal cabin and crash for the night after a day packed full of screams and thrills! Our bite-sized rooms have everything you need for a perfect night's rest to refuel including free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities, interactive TV, funky lighting and super comfy beds!"
Now, the rooms are smaller than a traditional hotel bedroom with bunkbeds and basic amenities; There's also not a huge amount of space for luggage – but the price which includes free park tickets is likely worth the compromise.
