Frequent flyer, John Burfitt, has shared his unusual tip for making his flights as comfortable as possible.
For many people, flights are not very pleasant experiences.
We can spend hours trying to find that perfect seat that will make those hours in the sky just a bit more bearable.
One of flyers' deepest fears is often being stuck next to, or in front of, an annoying fellow passenger.
Nothing is worse than getting comfortable on a flight only to find your seat being kicked by someone behind.
Luckily, one frequent flyer has shared his genius tip for travelling in peace.
In what might seem like a strange decision, his advice is to avoid sitting in what most would consider the ‘best’ seat on the plane.
John Burfitt, writing for escape.com.au, shared his tip that he always chooses the ‘worst’ seat on the plane.
This ‘worst’ seat is right at the back, next to the window and near the toilets.
Most people would want to avoid this seat out of fear of smells while flying.
But John claims that it can be one of the most comfortable seats for the journey.

He came to this decision after an uncomfortable flight of being kicked in the back for the whole journey by another passenger.
He then realised that the back seats of the plane would never have this problem because no-one can sit behind you.
"In that instant, I decided the back row would be the only place I would sit on a long flight from now on," he wrote.
"Sure enough, on my next flight, I booked into the back row of the cabin and, even better, my seat was the one right next to the window.
"As I nestled into that corner, I discovered what true airline love is about. I had just found the best seat on the plane."
