Travel Tuesday deals 2023: Holiday and hotel sales

You’ve more than likely heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with sales exploding online and in-store on everything from beauty products to tech. However, Travel Tuesday is a relative newcomer in the big sale weekend, but it is considered to be one of the busier days for booking travel according to experts.
Shahab Siddiqui, founder of FlightsFinder.com said: “Although Black Friday has become synonymous for bagging a deal – waiting until the following Tuesday may offer you even better prices. Travel Tuesday is a little-known hack for those wanting to save money on flights.”
However, experts from Jack’s Flight Club suggest that deals may even be available on the Wednesday after Black Friday – which is typically when most Black Friday deals have come to an end.
Katy Maclure, the editor of The Detour, a weekly newsletter from Jack’s Flight Club, said: “Our recent findings suggest the Wednesday following Travel Tuesday may be the next best day to search for travel deals.
“We encourage travellers to keep an eye on this emerging trend to make the most of their travel planning, however staying vigilant throughout the whole Black Friday and Cyber Monday period is key. From our findings, we see a surge of people looking for flights from the Thursday before Black Friday through to the following Wednesday.”
But, while many airlines, hotels and travel providers bring their deals to an end at midnight on Cyber Monday, there are a select few who keep the deals going beyond the Black Friday weekend, with others. Travel Tuesday deals
Although most companies aren’t branding their sales as specifically for ‘Travel Tuesday’ there are a number of airlines, holiday providers and hotels who are continuing to offer discounts across Tuesday and, in some cases, even longer. However, before you book anything it’s important to check the terms and conditions and make sure that there are no additional extras to pay for that you may not have noticed.
Amazon
Amazon’s Black Friday event comes to an end on November 27, 2023, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still great deals to be had on luggage, travel accessories and gifts for your travel-hungry friends and family. Amazon will continue to offer exclusive deals and discounts throughout the festive season.

Amazon kicked off its Black Friday sale event early, with deals lasting through to Cyber Monday on November 27, 2023.
Booking.com
Booking.com has slashed the cost of a stay at select accommodations and is also discounting attractions too. The deal, which runs until November 28, 2023, has discounts of up to 30 percent on accommodation and 25 percent off attractions around the world.

Booking.com is offering customers 30 percent off accommodation and 25 percent off select attractions when booked between November 16 and November 29, 2023, as part of its Black Friday sale.
IHG Hotels and Resorts
As part of its Black Friday and Cyber Week sale, IHG Hotels and Resorts has special discounts and offers running until November 28, 2023 – meaning you can still snap up a saving on Travel Tuesday.
Everyone can benefit from the sale, but you must register and download the app.
- Customers can save up to 20 percent off hotel stays at participating IHG Hotels and Resorts globally when they book in the IHG One Rewards mobile app. Members can receive a 20 percent off discount for global bookings in the mobile app from November 21 2023 to November 28, 2023.
Stay-by dates vary by region, at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts properties.
- IHG One Rewards members can get up to 40 percent off at more than 40 participating all-inclusive Iberostar Beachfront Resorts. Stays must be booked between November 21 and November 28, 2023, and dates of stay applicable for the discount vary.
- IHG One Rewards members can save 15 percent globally on Points and Cash bookings between November 20, 2023, and November 28, 2023. However, in order to qualify, all stays must be completed by February 29, 2024.
- Customers who register can earn 2,000 bonus points for every two nights they stay up until December 31, 2023, at participating properties.

Hilton has a number of deals available for a limited time on its website, some of which last beyond Cyber Monday into Travel Tuesday. Hilton Honors members usually benefit from the absolute best savings, so if you are not a member of the scheme, it is worth signing up.
Express.co.uk has rounded up some of the best deals available on Travel Tuesday:
- Save up to 35 percent on your next Hilton stay in Brazil or Colombia. Plus, enjoy breakfast included as part of your stay. However, you must book between November 16 and November 29, 2023, to enjoy these exclusive savings.
- Get up to 40 percent off a stay at Resorts World Las Vegas, the newest resort on the strip, when you book between November 22 and November 30, 2023.
Jet2 and Jet2holidays
The Jet2 and Jet2holidays Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale continues beyond November 27, with offers available through to December 4, 2023. Black Friday deals include up to £250 off holidays, discounts on flights and exclusive deals for MyJet2 app account holders.
Even once the Black Friday sales have come to an end, Jet2 always has special, limited-time deals and offers on its website for customers.
