Kate spoke with experts including TV presenter Anna Ryder-Richardson. The team were discussing travel and UK holidays.
Anna advocated for Britons to flock to UK travel hotspots to inject the economy with some much needed cash.
She claimed British tourists spots are suffering amid the pandemic.
However, Kate pointed out UK holidays are often just as expensive for Britons as travelling abroad for holiday.
The host of the programme questioned experts on the cost of British holidays.
Presenting next to Adil Ray, Kate said: “Very often holidays in the UK, especially this year when so many have been booked already, can often be more expensive than holidays abroad.
“So, do you blame people for thinking ‘I want to go and get myself some sunshine and after so long at home, get out’?”.
Anna said: “I don’t blame it. I think it’s really positive the world is starting to open up again.
“However, we really need tourism in the UK.”

She made a passionate argument for Britons to book UK holidays.
“Britain needs people,” she said.
“We are on our knees. We’ve all been in lockdown, like the rest of the population, for the last 12 months.”
Anna’s co-guest, on the other hand, advocated for Britons to return to Spain to holiday this summer.
Lisa Hodgkins, the owner of a bar in Marbella, southern Spain, told Good Morning Britain.
She urged the Government to allow tourists to travel to Spain to boost travel hotspots there.
She said: “Marbella is extremely safe.
“Obviously, we have restrictions in place, the same as the UK but Spain, particularly Marbella, we need the Brits. We don’t survive without the Brits.
“I fully understand the UK economy but also you have the aviation industry which is also part of the UK economy.
“Those flights need to be landed at Malaga airport as soon as possible because we’re ready for you.
“We’re also very much about outside dining, outside drinking which is really safe, much safer than being inside. It’s beautiful here, why not come?”
The British Government has warned travel abroad will likely remain restricted until the end of June.
