Picking their own pumpkins has become a yearly activity for Britons all over the country. Pumpkin patches and “pick your own” events are popping up everywhere, with Britons looking to join in on the fun spoiled for choices. Express.co.uk has done the research and found the best pumpkin patches Britons can go to all over the country. Don’t forget your Wellies!
Humble Bee’s Pumpkin Patch, North Yorkshire
The pumpkin patch and Halloween trail will be on for eight days starting on October 23.
Tickets are required and can be booked on the Humble Bee website from £5 for adults without a pumpkin.
Laverock Hall Farm, Northumberland
The event is on weekends from October 9 to October 21. More dates may be announced on the Pick Your Own Pumpkins with Laverock! Facebook event page.
There are no bookings and it will be first come first served.
Foxes Farm Produce, Essex
There are two pumpkin patches in Essex.
One in Colchester and one in Basildon.
Tickets are £6 for four people (additional tickets are £2) and can be purchased on the Foxes Farm Produce website.

Hill Farm, Peterborough
Booking is not required at the Hill Farm pumpkin patch.
Entry is free and pumpkin start at £1.
East Grange, Durham
PYO pumpkin is on from October 16 to October 29.
Booking is required and tickets can be purchased on the East Grange website.
Tickets are £5 per vehicle or per group and include a £5 pre-paid voucher which will be redeemed off any pumpkins bought.
Cammas Hall Fruit Farm, Hertfordshire
The Halloween event is on during the entire month of October.
There are day and night sessions.
General admission is from £2 and can be booked on the Cammas Hall website.
Booking is essential.
West Town Farm, Exeter, Devon
Events run from October 26 to October 30 and tickets can be purchased on the West Town Farm website.
Tickets are £5 per adult and £4 per child.
Sopley Farm, Christchurch, Dorset
Britons can pick their pumpkins from Sopley Farm.
The farm is free to enter and there is no need to book.
Uncle Henry’s at Grayingham Grange Farm, Lincolnshire
The pumpkin picking and carving event is on October 16 and 17 and then from October 22 to October 31.
Tickets are £5 and include one pumpkin to be picked and carved. The ticket allows two to enter the patch for 30 minutes.
Tickets can be purchased on the Uncle Henry’s website.
Cannon Hall Farm, South Yorkshire
Pumpkin Picking is on October 16 and 17 and from October 23 to October 31.
Tickets need to be purchased online at the Cannon Hall Farm website and start at £10.95.
Doddington Hall, Lincolnshire
The event runs from October 2 to October 31 and is free.
Fancy dress is encouraged and there are no tickets required.
Pumpkin prices start at £2, and the event is cash only.
Tulleys Farm, West Sussex
The event is on October 9 and 10, October 15 to 17, and from October 20 to 31.
Tickets are between £4 and £6, depending on the date.
Tulleys also has pumpkin nights events for Britons who wish to pick their pumpkin at night. Tickets are between £6 and £8 depending on the date.

Willows Farm, Hertfordshire
The Pumpkin Festival runs from October 16 to October 31 and includes PYOP activities.
Tickets need to be purchased in advance on the Willows Activity Farm website and are £24.
Mr Pumpkin, Derbyshire
The ticket only event is on October 9 and 10 and from October 16 to October 31.
Pumpkins’ prices start at £2 and tickets are £2 for adults, with under 16’s going free.
Britons should book in advance on the Mr Pumpkin website.
Kenyon Hall Farm, Cheshire
There are 15,000 pumpkins to be picked at Kenyon, with the event running all throughout October.
Tickets are £2 per person and should be booked at least 12 hours in advance on the Kenyon Hall website.
Crockford Bridge Farm, Surrey
Pumpkin picking from the farm’s fields is only available the first two weekends of October.
There’s also a pumpkin market open every day and a pumpkin festival during half term.
Pumpkin picking is £4.50 per person, with the price redeemed against the cost of the Pumpkins picked.
Booking is essential as there aren’t any tickets on the day.
To get a voucher, Britons should go to the Crockford Bridge Farm website.
Rectory Farm, Oxfordshire
The farm has its first Pumpkin Patch this year, and it will be open from October 8 to October 31.
There’s no need to book.
Millets Farm Centre, Oxfordshire
The fields are open every weekend in October, as well as every day during half term.
Tickets are £1 and can purchased on the Millets Farm Centre website. Pumpkin prices vary depending on size.
Undley Pumpkin Patch & Maize Maze, Suffolk
Open on weekends and at half term in October, the patch has 25 varieties of pumpkins and 36 different varieties of gourds to pick.
Tickets are free but it’s essential to book on the Undley Farm Events website.
Maxeys Farm Shop, Nottinghamshire
The Kirklington Farm Shop’s P..P..Pick up a Pumpkin event is on from October 9 to October 31.
There’s no need to book, with admission starting at £2 per person for off-peak days. Under 16’s go free.
Canalside Farm, Staffordshire
The farm’s PYOP experience runs on selected days from October 9 to October 30.
Pumpkins available include a choice of orange, green, yellow and white pumpkins in all shapes and sizes.
Advance booking is required from the Canal Side Farm website, with tickets £2.5 and pumpkins charged by weight on the day.
Arnprior Farm, Stirling, Scotland
The pumpkin patch will be open from October 11 to October 31. Sessions are two hours.
Tickets are £6.50 and are per car. They can be purchased on the Arnprior Farm website.
Craigie’s Farm, South Queensferry, Scotland
Britons who wish to pick pumpkins at Craigie’s need to purchase a voucher from the website.
PYO Pumpkins and Apples vouchers start at £1.50.
Streamvale Open Farm, Northern Ireland
The Halloween Pumpkin Patch is open from October 16 to October 31.
Tickets are £9.50 for adults without a pumpkin or £11 with pumpkin.
The event requires advance bookings and tickets must be purchased on the Streamvale website.
The Pumpkin Patch at Penllyn Estate, Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales
The event is on from October 23 to October 31.
Tickets are £7.50 and pumpkins start at £2.
