Travelling in the wake of coronavirus means heightened personal hygiene measures for all. Despite this, it seems even with new cleanliness protocols in place there is no changing some “disgusting” behaviours.
Passengers on a recent train journey were left shocked at the behaviour of one man.
Upon witnessing his “rude” behaviour, a passenger sat opposite captured the moment on camera.
In the footage, an anonymous man can be seen riding on a public transit train – much like a metro or underground train – accompanied by a large suitcase.
His identity is hidden partially with thanks to a face mask – one of the new requirements of “the new normal”.
Dressed in a short-sleeve shirt, shorts and flip flops, it is clear that the weather is warm.
Perhaps this is why the man feels the need to slip out of his shoes, and air out his foot.
However, the shock doesn’t only come with the passenger’s decision to display his naked toes to the rest of the train.
The repulsive moment comes just seconds later when the man can be seen using his fore and index fingers to pick at the crusted, dry skin on the bottom of his foot.

It doesn’t stop there, though.
Adding insult to injury, the anonymous traveller then proceeds to flick the dry skin onto the floor of the train carriage.
A final shot of the video zooms in at the pile of abandoned flakes of white skin on the ground.
Having been shared by Instagram account @PassengerShaming, the video has already amassed almost 300 shocked comments.
Onlookers have been left reporting feelings of nausea and disgust after witnessing the scene unfold.
“Thanks, I dry heaved,” wrote one commenter.
Another said: “This posting is literally making me sick. What kind of pig would do this?”
A third commenter wrote: “One of my pet peeves.
“Foot maintenance should be done privately or in a salon.”
Others described the scene as “soooo rude and gross” and “filthy”.
Of course, amid those who found horror at the behaviour, others pointed out the man’s compliance with coronavirus regulations.
“At least he’s wearing a mask,” argued one commenter.
However, those comments were few and far between, with the majority left questioning “what is wrong with people?”
