Woman slams plus size passengers for ‘spilling’ onto her seat during flights
A woman called out larger people for ‘spilling’ onto her seat on a flight – and said they make her feel uncomfortable.
The self-proclaimed ‘crazy traveller’ has taken to TikTok to share her opinion on curvy passengers aboard planes, which has caused some controversy.
It all was sparked from when plus size travel influencer Jaelynn called for airlines to make their seats bigger so larger people feel more comfortable when travelling by air.

But in response, the "crazy traveller" was more concerned by plus size passengers taking up her space.
In the clip that has racked up thousands of views, the slim holidaymaker voiced: “I’m going to get some hate for this and honestly I don’t care because it is my opinion.
“Yes, aeroplane seats are quite small these days and I do feel for those bigger people who are unable to sit comfortably in those seats
“But as a standard size 12/14 here in Australia(UK 10/12), you know anyone who is smaller than myself there as well, what we find annoying – and I speak for the collective there because I’ve had a lot of people tell me this.
“When you do have that larger person sitting next to you, now no hate to those larger people out there, I don’t care what your size is.
“But when I pay for a plane seat I expect to utilise the full seat and when I do have a larger person sitting next to me they are spilling into my seat, under the arm rest and over the armrest, their thighs, their butt onto my seat.
“Therefore, I’m only getting half a seat and now your largeness makes me uncomfortable and in my space that I've paid for on an aeroplane.
“So, you know I feel for you but…”, the ‘crazy traveller’ then gave a smirk.
However, not everyone agreed with her opinion and has blasted her for not seeing past the “privilege” of being a smaller sized person.
One person commented: “Sorry but your opinion is a classic display of privilege, not your plane, you pay for a seat and you get what you’re given.”
Another user slammed: “Well not everyone has enough money to buy two seats.”
While a third noted: “So what you're saying is the airlines need to make seats bigger.”
Someone else jibed: “It's not large person's problem though, it's the plane that was only made with small people in mind.”
Although many people disagreed, others felt that the woman was in the right – including plus size people.
One user expressed: “Absolutely 100%. Hubby and I are both overweight so we book the entire three seat row out of respect. Imagine that poor person who would have to share!”
A second person voiced: “You said that with utmost respect, I don't think you deserve hate for saying that.”
This user shared: “I’m plus size and I don’t fly for this reason. My size is not my neighbour’s problem.”
And, a fourth declared: “I'm plus size and I'd be soooo conscious about those around me. Like I hate it when people are in my bubble so I completely understand your opinion!”
Let us know what you think in the comments – is it the fault of the airline or the plus size passenger?
