A fitness influencer caused a stir after claiming she was 'body shamed' by staff at Disneyland over her outfit choice.

Instagram sensation Laci Kay Somers uploaded a video where she flaunted her toned figure in a matching black sports bra and leggings while visiting the Florida theme park.

The 30-year-old, from San Francisco, completed the look with a black baseball cap, crossbody bag and trainers.

But while she thought she looked great, she posted the footage on TikTok with the words: "I got hit for dress code at Disneyland."

The clip, which has been viewed 55,000 times and has almost 5,000 comments, was shared online with the hashtag '#bodyshaming' as she asked her fans what she should do about the incident.

Fans were left stunned at the claim as they took to the comments to give their opinion – with many defending her for her outfit choice.

One commented: "How dare you be an attractive person showing off her body. The nerve."

A second said: "All you did was look perfect."

However, other users defended the theme park claiming the outfit wasn't appropriate attire for the family-fun location.

A user argued: "Buy a shirt, there is a dress code.. follow it or leave" while another wrote "be respectful of other people."

According to the Disneyland website, the park's dress code bans clothing which "exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment".

It clearly states that customers should wear "proper attire" at all times including appropriate shoes and shirts and exposed tattoos with "objectionable language" are also "not permitted."

The site added: "Clothing that drags on the ground is prohibited in theme parks… We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests."
