‘Wonderful’ destination in Spain is one of this summer’s best spots
Spain is the UK’s top holiday destination so it’s no surprise to see one of the country’s leading hotspots topping the rankings for summer stays.
However, if Spain doesn’t feel quite right for this summer there’s no need to panic as the expert team at Expedia have picked destinations from right across Europe.
Whether it’s a cultural city break, a relaxing beach holiday or a rustic escape, there’s a European destination to scratch that itch.
According to Expedia’s data, there’s been a 25 percent increase in people searching for flights to Europe.
Britons who are yet to book a summer break might like to visit one of Expedia’s top holiday destinations.

Majorca topped this year’s list of summer destinations and the Balearic island could prove the perfect Spanish escape.
Although Majorca’s beaches are world-renowned, the sunny island has plenty of other attractions to explore.
Tourists recommend checking out the Cuevas del Drach, a breathtaking cave complex in Majorca’s Porto Cristo.
