Royal Caribbean is launching Wonder of the Seas in March 2022 and the incredible ship will take the number one spot as the largest cruise ship in the world. The ship will first launch from Florida before offering a European route from May.

In March next year the ship will launch from Fort Lauderdale in Florida before journeying to the Caribbean.

The Carribbean trip will stop off at Royal Caribbean’s private island, CocoCay. The day island has waterslides, private beaches and restaurants.

After completing that tour, it will head to Europe where it will sail to Rome and Barcelona for trips in May.

Majorca and Capri will also form part of Wonder of the Seas’ first ever European tour.

The cruise ship has taken luxury to the next level and has some amazing features for lucky guests to enjoy onboard.

The ship features eight neighbourhoods for guests to explore and each has its own unique vibe.

The exclusive Suite Class neighbourhood is solely for suite guests and has a private plunge pool and bar.

Central Park offers guests the chance to relax in a beautiful neighbourhood full of plants and flowers.

The park will be the first living park at sea and will house more than 20,000 plant species. Live music events will take place in the park area.

Kids are well catered for on Wonder of the Seas with an interactive open-air playground as well as the tallest water slide at sea.

Adventurers can take advantage of the rock climbing wall, the surf simulator or take a thrilling zip wire ride over the sea.

Vitality Spa and Fitness area will offer guests luxury spa treatments and trainers for those who want to keep fit on holiday.

Royal Caribbean CEO Michael Bayley said: “The momentum taking off across bookings and our returning ships in the US and Europe is significant.

“With half of our fleet sailing again, we are encouraged by what we’re seeing.”

Bookings for the European trip will open on September 22 but prices are unknown as yet.

The most expensive Ultimate family suites can cost upwards of £50,000 on a Royal Caribbean cruise.

The Ultimate Family Suite on Wonder of the Seas includes a cinema, a private slide and a balcony hot tub.

Wonder of the Seas is currently under construction in Saint-Nazaire, France and the launch has been delayed due to Covid.

The cruise liner was originally meant to depart from China but the maiden voyage was changed due to the pandemic.

The cruise industry has had a difficult time over the last year with many ships moored offshore.
