You and your mates can hire an Airbnb with a private Irish pub and tiki bar

We Brits love the pub, even if you don't drink you can get stuck into chatting to mates, play darts or get ruthless in the pub quiz. Of course, most of us do like to get boozy – and now you can do so in the comfort of your own pub when on a staycation.

A five-bedroom Airbnb has been listed on the holiday home site that comes with its own incredible Irish pub that will make you feel like you've been transported over the Irish Sea. It was designed to mimic Dublin’s famous Temple Bar pub – which is always heaving at this time of year whereas at this Airbnb you'll always be able to find a seat.

The outside has red and green colouring – identical to the tourist hotspot. But, unlike at the famous pub you'll always be able to get to the bar and can even pour your own pints while you're enjoying the boozer.

The property boasts its own beer garden and hanging wall sign on the grounds that make it feel like you've actually gone out to a proper pub rather than headed to the end of the garden. It comes with its own pumps, snooker table, dartboard and TV to watch sports so it's a pretty amazing spot for when a big game is on – or as a sports fan's stag do venue.

The property in Rushton Spencer, south of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire also has its own Tiki bar for those who prefer the tropics to Ireland. There’s also a hot tub and pizza oven for guests to enjoy when you're finished with the booze and want to relax and fill your belly.

It is just an hour away from Manchester and 15 miles from Alton Towers meaning it's a great spot to head out to the theme park from for the day or into Manchester for some shopping, Christmas markets or museums. Then there's no need to worry about having a designated driver because you can head back to your own pub in the evening and walk straight to bed.

Plus, there's a lake by the property which you'll have access to for either wild swimming or kayaking with the property providing a kayak for your use. Rudyard Lake boasts pretty sailboats, fishing opportunities and even a steam train. The home itself is themed around a ski chalet in the alps – so it's perfect for a winter getaway.

The listing reads: "This amazing property has its very own private Tikki Bar, if thats not enough, you also have your very own Irish Bar with Pool Table, DartBoard, 65" TV and log burner. Both these amazing spaces are for your own private entertainment with the property.

Up to 10 people can sleep at the property – and the hosts do monitor how many vehicles show up to make sure you're not sneaking extra people in. The two private bars are private and not open to the public. A stay starts from £550 a night with a three night minimum and added cleaning fee – airbnb.co.uk.

It's not the only cool Airbnb in the UK right now. The Ream Hills helicopter is a full-sized aircraft that has been parked and converted into a cool holiday stay for up to four guests at once close to Blackpool.

The converted Lynx helicopter is still covered in camouflage and has been professionally converted into an overnight stay. The chopper is a 1982 Westland Lynx XZ676 which can sleep two adults and two children in the custom made bunks in the tail and the living area of the aircraft.
