You can book stays in a real-life Barbie Dreamhouse and yes everything is pink

Barbie fans are no doubt counting down the days until she hits the big screen, with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starring as Barbie and Ken in the highly-anticipated Warner Bros movie.

However, it's not just the film that's going to have your inner child running wild; you can now book a stay in a real-life version of Barbie's Malibu Dreamhouse with Airbnb. Oh and yes – everything is pink of course.

Fittingly located in California's Malibu, the impressive mansion comes with a private infinity pool, outdoor disco dance floor, huge rooms, and panoramic views of the city – after all, Barbie needs the best location!

Everything has been designed to look like you're truly in a giant dollhouse, although there are very-real beds, showers, and a kitchen for you to use.

As for your host? Ken himself will be doing the honours. Sadly that doesn't mean you'll get to meet Ryan Gosling – but instead, there will be plenty of nods to 'Just Ken' from a wardrobe filled with amazing beach outfits, to a chance to learn a line dance or two, or even try your hand at a sunset serenade on Ken’s guitar.

Guests will even get to take home a "piece of the Kendom" with a set of yellow-and-pink Impala skates and surfboards.

Every room basically looks like it's the stuff of Instagram dreams, whether you're posing by the huge plastic ponies, trying your hand at a workout in Barbie's gym, or simply relaxing on the poolside loungers.

You'll be able to book stays from July on the Airbnb listing here.

Bookings will open for just two individual one-night stays, on July 21 and July 22. Each stay is for up to two people and will be completely FREE.

According to Airbnb, there's no charge "because Ken couldn’t figure out how to put a price on Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse – after all, Ken’s thing is beach, not math".

Ken said: “We all have dreams, and Barbie is lucky enough to have a house full of them. But now, it’s my turn, and I can’t wait to host guests inside these one-of-a-kind – dare I say, one-of-a-Ken? – digs."

The the highly anticipated BARBIE film, directed by Greta Gerwig, will be released in cinemas in the UK on July 21, 2023.

It's not the only Barbie-themed break that's worth having on your radar as a new Barbie theme park is set to open its doors next year.

The Mattel Adventure Park is currently under construction and expected to open in Glendale, Arizona, in the United States, next year.

It's reportedly set to have restaurants, shops, a large swimmable lagoon and even white sand beaches – and rollercoasters of course.

Barbie will also join guests on a flying journey is a new theatre adventure, reports claim. Her rooftop beach bar lets holidaymakers enjoy pink drinks and sweet and savoury snacks too.
