You can spot the quickest airport security queue by looking at the staff
Going on holiday is plenty of fun, but the travel itself can be stressful. Getting to the airport and dealing with security can take hours and extra long lines can make you late for your flights.
Luckily, it seems there are some ways to predict which security queue will be the fastest. Keeping an eye out for certain indicators could stop you from standing in a slow line that stresses you out.
According to security experts there are actually some easy ways to spot which of the airport security queues is set to move along the fastest. Two key ways were shared by security experts from GetLicenced.

Number one, you should look around for business class travellers. According to the insiders, often "business travellers will get through security quickly as they have less baggage, which can mean speedier security checks".
Secondly, it's worth looking at the staff around the X-ray machines. One expert explained: "If there is more than security officer at an x-ray machine, there's a chance that one of the employees is a trainee; so you could be risking a line that goes a little slower."
TikTok creator Nicole Jaques also recently shared a video with her best airport hacks. She claims that you should always turn left when going to join an airport security queue.
The mum said: "Most people are right handed and naturally go to right lanes. [Usually] if I go to the farthest left lane no one is there or fewer people are at least for customs and security."
Depending on the airport and availability you may be able to pay for fast-track security. This will speed you through the checkpoints and is a good option for those who get nervous about missing their plane.
Families have also been urged to remember the dedicated lanes for those with little ones, which allow you to fast-track. It's also worth asking airport security workers if you can go through fast-track if you have a small child with you – it doesn't always work, but it's worth the shot.
If the fast-track line is also long it’s likely that the security gates are extremely busy and so it wouldn’t be fair on those who paid extra to use them If you skipped the line.
However, if the fast-track lane is quiet and the regular line is long they may let those with small children use it to avoid the little ones disrupting others in the queue or to help you pass to your gate more smoothly.
