Bored of working from home?
The beauty of not being in the office is you can work remotely – and even do so abroad if you want to.
A stunning island resort in the Maldives is providing an “Unlimited Stays in Paradise” package so you can stay as long as you need.
Guests are able to book out luxurious overwater bungalows at Anantara Veli Maldives Resort for up to a year from just £31pp per night.
When they’re on their lunch break, they can treat themselves to free activities like scuba diving, jet skiing and dolphin watching.
Or to unwind after a hard days’ graft, they can get 25% off food and spa treatments at the resort.
Other perks include free transfers between Velana International Airport when required.
Breakfast is also provided, along with access to the fitness centre and swimming pool.
The cost of the luxurious break is $30,000, which is equivalent to around £22,770.
While this may seem steep, it’s actually pretty reasonable if you break down the costs.
If you were to stay for a year, you’d expect to pay £62 a night or £31 per person a night.
To book the working holiday, guests must submit their names when making payments.
This ensures they are the only ones staying in the overwater bungalow during the extended period.
An Anantara Veli Maldives Resort spokesperson added: “Return to your Maldivian Over Water Bungalow as often as you please and soak up the turquoise lagoon, magical sunsets, and the tropical beauty.
“Laze on your sun deck as colorful fish swim in the crystal-clear waters below.
“Elevate working from home to a new level, or up sticks and escape to sunnier climes to enjoy some R&R whenever the fancy takes.”
The Maldives re-opened to Brits on July 15.
Unfortunately, international travel is advised against in England at the moment due to a month-long lockdown.
