You can watch Harry Potter in a Hogwarts-style Medieval Castle this summer

Finally it seems like coronavirus restrictions are getting ready to be eased in the UK after an extensive lockdown over the winter period.

And that means only one thing – it's time to make some ridiculously fun spring and summer plans.

All being well, you'll be able to sit outside and watch a film within social distancing guidelines from May 14.

And if you're a Harry Potter fan then you're in luck as Adventure Cinema is offering a pretty amazing opportunity to watch the films in the grounds of a medieval castle.

The company's UK-wide open-air cinema tour will launch this summer.

The idea of Adventure Cinema is that it places cinema screens in 80 of the most picturesque locations across the country.

As well as Harry Potter, cinema-goers can also watch a screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail outside a Norman-era keep.

Other films include cult classics like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Grease, The Greatest Showman and Dirty Dancing.

The tour will visit castles in Yorkshire, Wrexham and Powys, National Trust sites in Dorset, Devon, London, Staffordshire and Hampshire, and country estates in Somerset, Crewe, Cheshire, Surrey and Norwich.

Guests can bring their own picnic blankets and snacks, while many of the venues will also serve food and have bars on site too.

Everything will be socially distanced, so that people can enjoy the experience without any safety fears.

Tickets for Adventure Cinema start from £14.50 + a booking fee and are available.

Adventure Cinema has ensured ticket holders will be offered a 100% money-back guarantee should anything mean that the events cannot go ahead.

The news comes as it was revealed recently a rare Harry Potter hardback sold for £40,000.

However, that almost didn't happen as the owner's son "nearly dropped it in the bath".
