AIG Travel adds medical benefits: Travel Weekly

AIG Travel has partnered with New Frontier Group, a medical services provider, to make telemedicine and local prescription services available to eligible international travelers.

Travelers from the U.S., Canada, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are eligible for the new benefits. They will also cover international travelers traveling in the U.S., Canada and the Middle East.

With the new partnership, eligible travelers will be able to connect with a medical professional via telehealth. New Frontier Group’s pharmacy concierge program team can source medication for travelers and, often, deliver it.

“Both services will allow AIG Travel to further reduce the burden of logistics often faced by international travelers who need to find high-quality medical care or prescription services while traveling,” the insurer said in a release.
