Embark Beyond launching Brazil operations

New York-based travel agency Embark Beyond is partnering with fellow Virtuoso member Teresa Perez Tours, a specialist in luxury FITs, to launch Embark Brazil, a full-service host agency.

It is Embark Beyond’s first international foray.

“The Perez family are the royalty of luxury travel in Brazil and dream partners with an aligned vision, ambition and values,” said Embark Beyond managing partner Jack Ezon.

Tomas Perez, president of Teresa Perez Tours said that he “was blown away” by Embark Beyond’s blend of marketing, training and technology. “There is nothing like this in Brazil,” he said.

Luxury veteran Sylvia Silva was hired to be managing director of Embark Brazil. The company has begun a soft opening and will officially launch in November. 

Embark Beyond, which Ezon co-founded in 2018, made news earlier this year when it merged with Brickell Travel Management. The two agencies had combined 2019 sales of $175 million.
