Ensemble hires Butzlaff, others as it expands its team; David Harris to depart
Ensemble has made several hires and promotions, which it said was part of rebuilding its brand a year after being acquired by Navigatr Group.
Additionally, executive chairman David Harris, formerly CEO of Ensemble, is leaving the organization.
Beth Butzlaff has been named senior vice president of global partner relations. Butzlaff was most recently vice president of global partnership at Global Travel Collection, Internova’s luxury division. Before that, she was Virtuoso’s vice president of global partner relations for 14 years.
Jennifer Dzialo, senior vice president of partner relations, has moved from Ensemble to Navigatr, where her focus will remain on strategic partner relationships.
Shelly Ransom was named Ensemble’s vice president of new agency business development, a new role at Ensemble. Ransom most recently led Hyatt’s distribution team. She has also held roles at Starwood, Wyndham and Marriott and led AAA’s lodging and airline partnership program.
Ron Bentley, most recently Ensemble’s vice president of member relations, will join Ransom in agency business development. His focus will be on agency acquisition. Taking Bentley’s place as vice president of member relations will be Mark Stubbert, who previously held advisor service related roles at Travel Edge Network and Carlson Wagonlit.
“We have been laser focused on building the new Ensemble over the past year with a priority on acquiring and developing some of the industry’s top talent,” said Ensemble president Michael Johnson.
“This deliberate approach and strategy have already enabled us to deliver an improved and consistent experience to our members and partners alike, and with these new team members we are primed to advance Ensemble’s growth and realize our vision of shaping the consortium of the future.”
