The property was formerly the Riviera, built in the 1950s and known as a hangout for the Rat Pack. The newly refreshed resort sits on 16 acres and offers 398 rooms with private patios and terraces. There are six dining options, a 10,000-square-foot St. Somewhere Spa with 18 treatment rooms and more than 50,000 square-feet of combined indoor and outdoor wedding, meetings and event space. The property also features two pools with Tiki-hut inspired cabanas, a fitness center and a business center.
The resort opened in November after closing for several months for the revamp, and the JWB Grill opening on Aug. 3 completed the renovations on the property. The new signature restaurant serves lunch and dinner and features an expansive menu featuring seafood, prime steaks and a range of other dishes such as burgers and fish tacos.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the launch of Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs with the opening of JWB Grill and welcome both locals and guests for laid-back luxury island cuisine in paradise,” Jeff Ouradnik, director of sales and marketing of Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs, said in a statement.
Guestrooms start at $179 per night and suites start at $239 per night.
The Margaritaville brand, founded by musician Jimmy Buffett in 1985, has more than 20 properties including locations in the U.S. and Mexico.
