Flight Centre forms employee resource groups
Flight Centre Travel Group has created five Employee Resource Groups and named coordinators for each.
Teresa Rolack will coordinate the Racial Equity group, which “will connect racialized and Indigenous employees as well as non-racialized allies,” Flight Centre said. The group is sponsored by executive David Richardson and Flight Centre Americas president Charlene Leiss.
Kate Neufeld will coordinate the Gender Equity group, which “will connect employees interested in advocating for gender equality, including women, gender nonconforming employees, and men,” Flight Centre said. The group is sponsored by executive Chris Lynes.
Chelsea Eaton will coordinate the Accessibility group, which “will connect employees living with visible or invisible disabilities, chronic illnesses, mental illnesses, marginalized neurotypes, and non-disable allies,” Flight Centre said. It is sponsored by executive Lisa Baker.
Daniel Baker will coordinate the LGBTQ2+ group, which “will connect LGBTQ2SIA+ employees and cisgender heterosexual allies,” Flight Centre said. It is sponsored by executives Billy McDonough and Christina Pedroni.
Chris Garrard will coordinate the Environmental Justice group, which “will connect employees who wish to advocate for environmental justice, animal rights and sustainability,” Flight Centre said. It is sponsored by executive Marc Casto.
