Four Seasons Dallas will convert to a Ritz-Carlton: Travel Weekly
The Four Seasons Resort Dallas will undergo a $55 million renovation and emerge as a Ritz-Carlton hotel in 2024.
The luxury hotel in Irving will be called the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas.
Marriott International will assume management of the 431-room hotel on Dec. 15, when it will be called the Colinas Resort, Dallas until the renovation is done.
All of the guestrooms and villas will be revamped, and each restaurant and bar will be reimagined. The property’s spa, outdoor pool area and meeting and event space will also receive updates.
When the hotel becomes a Ritz-Carlton, guests will continue to have access to the adjacent Golf and Sports Club, which has 12 tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, a 6,000-square-foot fitness center and a golf course.
The overhaul comes as hotel ownership changes hands. Private equity firm Partners Group and funds managed by Trinity Fund Advisors recently formed a joint venture to acquire the resort for an undisclosed sum.
