G Adventures will explore the Galapagos in a new catamaran: Travel Weekly
G Adventures is offering travelers a new way to explore the Galapagos Islands.
The tour operator has a new custom-built catamaran that will begin sailing on Aug. 12.
The 103-foot Reina Silvia Voyager has 10 cabins split over two decks, including two just for solo travelers. Eight of the rooms have private balconies and each room has panoramic windows.
The Reina Silvia Voyager offers four itineraries ranging from eight to 10 days. Guests have use of eight kayaks and two Zodiacs to explore remote ports and rocky coasts.
A spacious third deck has lounge chairs, a covered cocktail bar, a grill station and an outdoor jacuzzi tub.
An indoor, air-conditioned salon with a large video screen will enable visual presentations from naturalists, who will guide each group’s tour and help guests learn about the wildlife and culture of the Galapagos Islands.
A crew of 10 includes a chef and a G Adventures chief experience officer.
