Hyatt builds its Europe all-inclusive portfolio: Travel Weekly

Hyatt’s AMR Collection has added two more all-inclusives to its European footprint, recently opening the Dreams Calvia Mallorca in Spain and the AluaSoul Zakynthos in Zakinthos, Greece.

The pair are redevelopments of existing properties, with the Dreams Calvia Mallorca previously operating as the Pax Barracuda and the AluaSoul Zakynthos a reflagging of the Plagos Beach. Both resorts underwent extensive renovations ahead of their rebrandings.

The family-friendly Dreams Calvia Mallorca comprises 391 rooms as well as four swimming pools, a gym, a wellness area, the Explorer’s Club for kids, the Core Zone for teens and adults-only areas. On the culinary front, the property offers four a la carte restaurants, two buffets, two snack bars and a food market.

The adults-only AluaSoul Zakynthos features 161 rooms, three restaurants and dedicated lounge and pool areas for club-level guests.

The Dreams Calvia Mallorca is Dreams Resorts & Spas’ third outpost in Spain, while the AluaSoul Zakynthos is Alua Hotels & Resorts’ first location in Greece.

The two openings come after Hyatt Hotels Corp. CEO Mark Hoplamazian told press at the NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference that luxury all-inclusive expansion across Europe is a priority for the company.
