Internova adds profiles to website that promotes travel advisors: Travel Weekly

Internova Travel Group has updated its consumer-facing website,, which now features travel advisor profiles and content about the benefits of using an agent.

Traffic to the website is the end goal of Internova’s advertising campaign “Go Human. Book Human” that launched last summer.

Visitors can now search for advisors by location, destination, travel interests and/or languages. If the advisor is online, consumers can start chatting with them immediately. They can also view the advisor’s full profile and schedule a time to talk.

The advisor profiles on BookHuman.Travel are sourced from Internova’s Agent Profiler. The advisors currently on the site were hand-selected because of their expertise and specialization. Advisors do not have to pay to be listed on the site, Internova said.

The site also includes information on what advisors do and how they work, and features stories and photos about destinations from the advisors themselves.

Overall, the site seeks to show the benefits of human connection versus booking travel online, Internova said.

“It amazes me how little consumers know about the benefits of using a travel advisor,” Rivard said in a statement. “Arguably, the least important thing a travel advisor does is book your travel. What surrounds the actual booking — the planning, anticipating, troubleshooting, negotiating, resolving and communicating — is where you will find the real value of an advisor.

“That’s what we want to feature on BookHuman.Travel, which has evolved to become an advocacy site for our travel advisors,” he added. “Here, they can share their firsthand experiences as well as tell stories of how they’ve helped clients before, during and after trips.”
