Margaritaville opens reservations for San Diego hotel
Reservations are open for the Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter for stays starting Aug. 15.
The 235-room property is a reflagging and $30 million revamp of the former Hotel Solamar. The hotel will have refreshed guestrooms featuring updates like white shiplap walls and rattan fixtures as well as a 7,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck and 6,000 square feet of indoor meeting space.
The Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter will be home to three dining venues, including a rooftop outpost of the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar and a ground-floor LandShark Bar & Grill. Located adjacent to the LandShark will be a Margaritaville Coffee Shop, which will serve coffee drinks and grab-and-go bites.
Margaritaville said the San Diego property will be the brand’s first city-center location on the West Coast.
