Paradisus by Melia includes experiences for select suite guests
Paradisus by Melia has rolled out a new Destination Inclusive program, through which guests staying in select suite categories can participate in on- and off-property cultural experiences as part of their all-inclusive stay.
The concept is making its debut at Paradisus locations across Mexico’s Riviera Maya — Paradisus Cancun, Paradisus La Perla and Paradisus Playa del Carmen — as well as at Paradisus Los Cabos and Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Guests staying at Nikté and The Reserve suites will be granted access to the program’s experiences, which are included in the rate.
At the Riviera Maya Paradisus properties, eligible guests can opt for activities like a guided visit to a cenote for a private meditation and yoga class. At the Paradisus Los Cabos, travelers can explore a canyon and join a yoga and sound healing session led by a local instructor. At the Paradisus Palma Real, guests can select a private catamaran sailing to a secluded beach.
The included experiences are expected to change throughout the year.
The Destination Inclusive launch comes on the heels of Paradisus’ recent foray into Europe, following the opening of the Paradisus Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands on March 24. A second Paradisus in the Canary Islands — the Paradisus Salinas in Lanzarote — is on track to debut on May 22.
Melia’s Destination Inclusive rollout also comes as a growing number of resorts seek ways to incorporate more off-property programming into the all-inclusive experience.
