Perillo Tours hires Keith Baron to lead expansion beyond Italy

Italy specialist Perillo Tours has hired Keith Baron as COO, reporting directly to company president and owner Steve Perillo.

Perillo said Baron will “play a critical role in strengthening our position as an Italy leader and growing our business beyond Italy.”

Besides its extensive selection of Italy itineraries, Perillo currently offers four Hawaii tours and has a small presence in Greece and Spain.

Baron previously was president of luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent USA. 

Baron, a New Jersey native, spent 12 years at A&K headquarters in Downer’s Grove, Ill., a suburb of Chicago. He stepped down from A&K in August in order to move back to the East Coast.

“Keith has an impressive track record of hands-on leadership, improving operational efficiency and driving growth,” Perillo said. 

Perillo added that Keith’s depth of experience, along with his dedication to the travel advisor community, will play an important role in supporting the brand’s success.
