Opened in 1995, the Delano South Beach at 1685 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach will undergo a “substantial renovation” and reopen as the brand’s flagship location, according to Ennismore and Cain International. The building, which dates back to 1947, comprises 194 rooms.

Two flags

As part of their expansion plans, the companies have also opted to split the brand into two concepts: the original Delano flag and the recently launched Maison Delano offshoot.  The Maison Delano concept will skew toward city destinations, while the Delano concept will have a resort market focus.
