Portuguese soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has brought his budding hotel chain to the U.S. with the opening of the Pestana CR7 Times Square in New York.<\/p>\n
Located on West 39th Street between 8th and 9th avenues, the 176-room hotel is near the Hudson Yards neighborhood as well as the New York Convention Center (Javits Center).<\/p>\n
The hotel is home to the Seven Bar & Restaurant, a lobby-level venue serving healthy fare.<\/p>\n
A lifestyle hospitality concept, Pestana CR7 (the “7” is Ronaldo’s uniform number) was born out of a 2016 collaboration between Portugal’s Pestana Hotel Group and Ronaldo. <\/p>\n
The brand has hotels in Madeira (where Ronaldo was born and raised), Lisbon and Madrid.<\/p>\n
The Pestana CR7 Times Square joins the Pestana Park Avenue in New York and the Pestana Miami South Beach in Pestana Hotel Group’s U.S. portfolio.<\/p>\n
Rates at the Pestana CR7 Times Square start at $99 per night, plus tax.<\/p>\n
