Steven de Blois has been named managing director of StudentUniverse, Flight Centre Travel Group’s online travel booking platform for students.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
De Blois replaces Mike Cleary, who spent nearly 10 years at StudentUniverse, the last four as managing director.<\/p>\n
De Blois was most recently managing director and head of product at Umapped, the Flight Centre-owned itinerary platform. He has also held posts at Air Canada in corporate strategy and e-commerce, as well as at Expedia, where he was the global director of product management.<\/p>\n
In his new post, de Blois will be responsible for leading all aspects of StudentUniverse in the four countries where it operates: the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K.<\/p>\n
