The travel industry is slowly getting back on its feet following the coronavirus lockdowns.

It was confirmed that fully vaccinated arrivals from the European Union and the US won't need to quarantine upon arrival to the UK.

After the government made the announcement, Heathrow Airport has unveiled a new initiative to help boost the travel industry.

According to the London-based airline, there will be "thousands of pounds" worth of flights that are up for grabs.

It has been dubbed "Come Fly Again" and the scheme will include free flights departing from the airport with a free main meal.

Winners will be given essentials from big names, including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Blue Air and so much more.

The competition also marks 75 years of Heathrow Airport which opened its doors back in 1946.
