{"id":81916,"date":"2021-09-12T09:10:16","date_gmt":"2021-09-12T09:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mytravelleader.com\/?p=81916"},"modified":"2021-09-12T09:10:16","modified_gmt":"2021-09-12T09:10:16","slug":"heres-why-photographer-peter-rajkai-is-setting-instagram-alight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mytravelleader.com\/travel\/heres-why-photographer-peter-rajkai-is-setting-instagram-alight\/","title":{"rendered":"Here&apos;s why photographer Peter Rajkai is setting Instagram alight"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Photographer sets Instagram alight with stunning images of breathtaking landscapes and architectural treasures, from heart-shaped islands to fairy-tale castles<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Scrolling through snapper Peter Rajkai\u2019s Instagram feed, followed by 91,000 people, is a journey of discovery<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>It&#8217;s a photographic tour of the man-made and natural world at their most bizarre and intriguing<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Here we present 20 of Peter&#8217;s top shots, taken in the likes of Greenland, Hungary, Croatia and the UK<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Secret staircases, heart-shaped islands, epic icebergs and fairy-tale castles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Scrolling through photographer Peter Rajkai\u2019s Instagram feed is a journey of discovery, a photographic tour of some of the world\u2019s most incredible landscapes and architectural treasures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And always captured in mesmerising style &#8211; there\u2019s a reason he has over 90,000 Instagram followers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Peter, from the town of Budaors in Hungary, is particularly drawn to the geometric shapes and spiral forms of staircases, but is keen not to pigeon-hole himself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He says: \u2018Most photographers are interested in only one or two genres, but my plan is to make a really excellent photo in almost every category.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Here we present 20 of Peter\u2019s top shots,\u00a0taken in the likes of Greenland, Hungary, Croatia and the UK.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2021\/08\/30\/14\/47178161-9933727-This_stunning_drone_shot_shows_one_of_the_sources_of_Croatia_s_6-a-68_1630331732539.jpg\" height=\"1094\" width=\"962\"><\/p>\n<p>This stunning drone shot shows one of the sources of Croatia&#8217;s 62-mile-long Cetina river &#8211; a breathtaking karst spring near the tiny village of Cetina near the Dinara mountain range known as &#8216;the eye of the earth&#8217;. This image garnered over 23,000 likes when Peter posted it to Instagram\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2021\/08\/30\/14\/47178165-9933727-It_s_hard_not_to_fall_in_love_with_this_beautiful_shot_which_sho-a-69_1630331732540.jpg\" height=\"594\" width=\"470\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2021\/08\/30\/14\/47180163-9933727-Peter_reveals_on_Instagram_that_he_got_up_at_4_30am_so_he_could_-a-70_1630331732541.jpg\" height=\"594\" width=\"470\"><\/p>\n<p>LEFT: It&#8217;s hard not to fall in love with this beautiful shot, which shows privately owned Galesnjak, a rare naturally occurring heart-shaped island in the Adriatic&#8217;s Pasman Canal. There isn&#8217;t much on the island, apparently, except some wild plants and a colony of rabbits. RIGHT:\u00a0Peter reveals on Instagram that he got up at 4.30am so he could get a shot of this waterfall in Croatia&#8217;s Krka National Park before the crowds arrived. And the effort paid off.
