United Airlines has issued a travel waiver for customers flying to Johannesburg, South Africa, because a fuel-supply issue at the airport has forced the carrier to cancel service.<\/p>\n

United’s lone route to Johannesburg is from Newark and is scheduled for daily service. The carrier canceled its Newark-to-Johannesburg legs on Sunday and Monday nights and has canceled return trips from Johannesburg for Monday and Tuesday, according to FlightAware. United said the cancellations on Sunday and Monday are due to “airport-wide fuel-supply issues.”<\/p>\n
