The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla has been acquired by Grand Cayman-based Dart, a privately held global investment and development organization, from an affiliate of Starwood Capital Group.<\/p>\n
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will continue to manage the Anguilla property, according to Diego Angarita, general manager.<\/p>\n
“Aside from our customary seasonal closure from Aug. 23 to Oct. 19, Four Seasons Anguilla will continue to welcome guests,” Angarita said.<\/p>\n
“Dart has a long-standing conviction in the strength of the Four Seasons brand, its ability to create enduring value throughout its luxury hotels and resorts and to focus on the delivery of exceptional guest experiences,” said Dart CEO Mark VanDevelde.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“We look forward to collaborating with Four Seasons and the exceptional management and staff of this resort to continue to enhance the world-class experiences of guests and residence owners and, alongside the government of Anguilla, to contribute to the prosperity of the Anguillian community,” he said.<\/p>\n
Dart’s hospitality portfolio centers on five-star resorts, including the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman and Grand Cayman’s Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa, as well as the Conrad Orlando at Evermore, an 1,100-acre resort community developed opening in 2023.<\/p>\n
The 181-room, 35-acre Four Seasons overlooks the beaches of Meads Bay and Barnes Bay on Anguilla’s north shore. The property opened in 2010 under the Viceroy brand and was converted to the Four Seasons in 2016.<\/p>\n
The resort was damaged by Hurricane Irma in September 2017, reopened the following March, was shut down by Covid in March 2020 but reopened that November with strict Covid protocols in place.<\/p>\n
