W Hotels marked the opening of W Escape Aug. 9 in Costa Navarino, Greece.<\/p>\n
Located in the 32-acre Costa Navarino resort area, which features 1,500 feet of Mediterranean shoreline and overlooks the protected Bay of Navarino, the property welcomes adults and young guests over 12 years old.<\/p>\n
The 246-room hotel, the brand’s first property in Greece, features a bioclimatic design with an emphasis on sustainability, interior design — including a culinary market square — led by London-based and globally focused studio MKV Design, contemporary art including works by young artists at the Athens School of Fine Arts and a wet deck with an infinity-edge pool with views of the Ionian Sea.<\/p>\n
Other amenities include the Away Spa and Fit, a full-service gym with an indoor-outdoor lap pool.<\/p>\n
