Its sister ship, the Norwegian Prima, was also delayed this year due to supply-chain issues but is scheduled to debut this month with a naming ceremony in Iceland on Aug. 27. <\/p>\n<p><span>The Viva was supposed to begin sailing July 3, 2023. The line has canceled Viva sailings through Aug. 17., and it has repositioned the Norwegian Getaway to take over the Viva&#8217;s canceled voyages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Guests can either sail on a comparable itinerary on the Getaway at a 20% discount of the cruise fare originally paid or cancel the current reservation on the Viva and rebook at a later date. Guests canceling their sailing must do so by Sept. 2.
