The Margaritaville at Sea Paradise set sail on Friday following a multimillion-dollar improvement of the ship.<\/p>\n
The vessel departed from its homeport in Palm Beach, Florida, resuming two-day cruises with an overnight in Freeport, Bahamas. The first sailing since its drydock sold out, said Margaritaville at Sea CEO Kevin Sheehan Jr.<\/p>\n
Changes to the ship include the addition of a pickleball court and outdoor lounge space, a dueling piano bar and a Cheeseburger in Paradise Burger Bar where guests can build their own burger. <\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span>The line also introduced two theater shows, one featuring upbeat music, dance and acrobatics and the other titled “Radio Margaritaville: Live! At Sea,” fashioned after the Margaritaville brand’s satellite radio station.\u00a0<\/p>\n Other changes include an upgraded fitness center with new equipment and a Reflect Touch Fitness Mirror for yoga experiences, a new arcade, cabin upgrades, refreshed kids club spaces, a new cocktail menu at the refreshed Hemisphere Nightclub and a revamped and expanded menu at Fins Dining.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Margaritaville at Sea has added onshore excursions in Grand Bahama, including a boat party and snorkeling experience as well as a cycling excursion. Guests now also have a third option for its cruise-and-stay program — the Pelican Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.\u00a0<\/p>\n Also, the cruise line has appointed Christopher Ivy president. Ivy previously served as chief revenue and product development officer.<\/p>\n\n
