While Cornwall normally gets the most attention for its beaches, Wales\u2019 coastline is packed with beautiful beaches which are much quieter.<\/p>\n

According to Tripadvisor\u2019s ranking, Barafundle Beach in Stackpole, Pembrokeshire is Wales\u2019s second best beach.<\/p>\n

The small, almost tropical-looking bay, is backed by dunes and pine trees and has been compared to the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

With golden sand and crystal clear water, this beautiful beach could be the perfect place to enjoy the summer.<\/p>\n

The beach has previously been crowned \u2018the best beach in Britain\u2019 and has received the Green Coast Award.<\/p>\n

One tourist \u2018TawnyOwl\u2019 wrote: \u201cAbsolutely breathtaking place! It\u2019s like being abroad, clear water, white sand!\u201d<\/p>\n

Visitors should be aware that the beach is a half mile walk from the nearest car park and there are no facilities.<\/p>\n

Tourists will need to take everything with them when they go but this helps to keep the beach pristine and isolated.<\/p>\n

Visit Pembrokeshire also advises tourists to check the tides before visiting to make sure there\u2019s enough beach to play on.<\/p>\n
