Marriott International plans to open its second JW Marriott luxury safari lodge in Africa, which will be located within Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.<\/p>\n
Expected to open in 2026, the property will comprise 30 suites, including two presidential suites each with its own private swimming pool and deck area.<\/p>\n
The lodge will offer what Marriott describes as “extensive” food, beverage and meeting facilities.<\/p>\n
For international visitors, the lodge will be accessible via a flight into Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a domestic flight to an airstrip in Serengeti or an eight-hour drive.<\/p>\n
Marriott opened its first JW Marriott lodge in Africa, the JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, earlier this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
