Yellowstone National Park’s Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel & Cabins has reopened its doors.

The 211-room property had temporarily shuttered after flooding damaged wastewater systems in the Mammoth Hot Springs area last summer.

The National Park Service announced this month that repairs to the Mammoth wastewater treatment plant have been completed, enabling the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel to reopen.

The hotel is part of the Xanterra Travel Collection portfolio. Xanterra said all the lodges, hotels and Xanterra-run campgrounds in Yellowstone are now open.

The Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel as it stands today was built in 1936, while retaining a wing of guest rooms originally built in 1911. Its signature Map Room contains a large wooden map of the United States constructed of 15 different kinds of wood from nine countries.
