The company merged with Internova, then known as Travel Leaders Group, in 2017.<\/p>\n<p><span>Chemla founded Altour in 1991 with a focus on corporate and luxury travel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I believe that there are many opportunities for the talented people at Altour, and I am confident that they are all in good hands at Internova Travel Group,&#8221; Chemla said in a release. &#8220;I am committed to a smooth transition as I move on to the next phase of my career.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Before founding Altour, Chemla was a senior executive with Club Med. He has also been an airline and hotel consultant for Hyatt and Disney.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alexandre Chemla is an entrepreneur and one of the more forward-thinking leaders in the travel industry, and it has been an honor to work with him,&#8221; Internova CEO J.D.
