Carnival Legend will sail from Galveston in winter 2025-26
Carnival Cruise Line has committed to sailing a fourth ship out of Galveston for the second winter season in a row, this time by sending the Carnival Legend to sail Western Caribbean itineraries from the Texas port in winter 2025-26.
The Legend’s Galveston cruises are now open for sale.
The 2,124-guest Legend will join the Carnival Dream, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Jubilee in Galveston. The Legend will replace the Carnival Miracle, which will reposition to San Francisco in the fall of 2025.
The Legend will alternate between shorter and longer cruises. Among the itineraries is a five-day sailing that visits Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico. Cozumel is also featured on eight four-day weekend getaways.
Seven 10-day itineraries visit Grand Cayman; Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Mahogany Bay, Roatan; Belize; and Cozumel.
Additionally, an eight-day Christmas sailing to depart Dec. 18, 2025, will visit Mahogany Bay, Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Ahead of its move to Galveston, the Legend will sail a 16-day Carnival Journeys cruise that departs San Francisco on Oct. 6, 2025. The ship will visit Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Puntarenas, Costa Rica before transiting the Panama Canal, and then visit Cartagena, Colombia, before arriving in Galveston.
A second 14-day Carnival Journeys cruise, roundtrip from Galveston, departs on Feb. 2, 2026, and visits Montego Bay; Aruba; Curacao; Cartagena; Colon (Panama Canal), Panama; Limon, Costa Rica; and Cozumel.
Additionally, three 10-day Panama Canal sailings depart on Oct. 27 and Dec. 8, 2025, and March 16, 2026.
