Century Cruises is back on China's Yangtze after pandemic pause: Travel Weekly
Century Cruises is back on China’s Yangtze River after nearly a year-long sailing pause due to Covid.
The Chongqing-based river cruise line relaunched this month and has a new ship sailing the waterway. The seven-deck, 260-cabin Century Victory accommodates 650 guests and features several signature restaurants and lounges, a movie theater, a mahjong room, a spacious sun deck and outdoor seating area, as well as a variety of suites.
A new eight-day itinerary is available this year between Chongqing and Wuhan for guests looking for a shorter cruise than the company’s popular 15-day sailing between Shanghai and Chongqing.
Century also has plans to launch two ships in the next two years that will be built with sustainability in mind by using hybrid engines. The company will debut a smaller, all-suite luxury cruise ship called the Century Dream in 2026. Century has four ships in its fleet: Century Victory, Century Glory, Century Paragon and Century Legend.
