Cruise passenger left ‘on the dock’ after making ‘absent minded’ mistake

Packing for a cruise is usually less stressful than for a flight as passengers don’t need to worry about liquid limits.

However, there are a few key rules passengers will have to remember to enjoy a trouble-free cruise.

A passenger claimed a guest had been left ‘on the dock’ after they made a key packing error.

‘PuzzledKumquat’ said: “Make sure you keep your passport on your person. Sorry to yell, but very recently my husband’s coworker attempted to go on a cruise with his wife.

“After they collected their suitcases from baggage claim at the airport, he absent-mindedly put their passports and cruise paperwork in his suitcase.

“Long story short, their suitcases had a lovely vacation while he sat sadly on the dock and his wife raged.”

Passports and important documents need to be packed in hand luggage so they’re easily accessible at boarding.

Passengers should also pack suncream and other first day essentials in their carry on luggage.
