JetBlue is increasing its JFK-Heathrow service

JetBlue will increase its service from New York JFK to London Heathrow in March, while reducing service between JFK and London Gatwick.

On March 25, the carrier will introduce a morning JFK-to-Heathrow flight to complement its existing evening outbound flight from JFK, leaving New York at 8:30 a.m. and arriving in the evening. The return flight will leave London at 8:25 a.m. local time, arriving in New York shortly before noon. The flight complements existing service that departs London just before noon.

Reduction in Gatwick service

As JetBlue adds that daily frequency, it will eliminate its 6 p.m. daily outbound flight between JFK and Gatwick, which has a return departure time of 8:10 a.m. in London.

The carrier will continue its 7:30 p.m. daily JFK-Gatwick flight, with a return departure time of noon.

JetBlue is able to make the shift after acquiring an additional daily Heathrow landing and departure slot. The move gives the carrier a larger presence at the U.K.’s largest and most important airport.

JetBlue entered the U.K. market in the 2021 and currently flies from JFK and Boston to Heathrow and Gatwick.
