British Airways holidays has suspended flights for now in line with Government travel restriction. However, the airline’s package holiday arm has optimistically released an “enticing” array of deals ready for when travel returns.
At the time of writing, British Airways holidays is planning to return to service from May 17.
All cancels prior to that point are now cancelled.
A BA spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “All affected customers will be contacted and offered a refund.”
In a statement, the travel provider added: “If we cannot fulfil a holiday, we’re committed to ensuring customers receive a full refund within 14 days
“Customers who are unable to travel, or choose not to, can continue to change their holiday without a change fee, or request a voucher for future use.”
Following the Prime Minister’s recent optimistic comments that he “hasn’t given up on May 17” with regards to restarting some travel, British Airways holidays has announced its latest sale.
Hopeful holidaymakers could snap up an array of long-haul deals from just £329.
Customers can bag return flights to New York from £329, Miami from £339 and San Francisco or Los Angeles from £348.

For those hoping to soak up some Caribbean sunshine, trips to Antigua are on offer from just £368 and St Lucia from £428.
Looking East, return flights to Tel Aviv start from £269 and Dubai from £341.
The airline is also boasting an array of package deals, including flights and hotels from as little as £199 per person.
These include seven-night European beach breaks to the likes of Malaga, Faro and Mallorca.
Alternatively, for those looking for a Caribbean getaway, seven-night holidays to Barbados are from £579 per person, and all-inclusive trips to Antigua are from just £699 per person.
Meanwhile, three-night minibreaks to the glitz and glamour of Dubai are from £379 per person.
Customers who have Avios points can also benefit from further reductions.
These include New York return flights for £179 plus 33,000 Avios, Los Angeles return flights for £199 plus 33,000 Avios and Antigua return flights for £158 plus 47,500 Avios.
Flight dates span throughout 2021 and into 2022, with the airline adding an extra layer of assurance thanks to its “Book with Confidence” policy.
This means customers are able to switch the date of their travel at no extra cost should they be unable to fly or simply change their mind.
Alternatively, they can opt for a voucher which can be used towards future travel.
Andrew Brem, British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We remain optimistic that international travel for non-essential reasons will be allowed from May 17, so after months of commitment and sacrifice Britons will be able to enjoy the holidays that they deserve.
“In the meantime, we are offering our customers flights and holidays at reduced prices and with flexibility for hassle-free changes at short notice.
“Holidays can now be reserved with a deposit from just £60 per person. We also have some brilliant offers available for journeys later in the year and into 2022.”
