Jet2 has flights to Spain, France and Greece from £43 in huge sale for summer

If you're tired of the British weather and dreaming of sunnier climates instead, then you may want to check out Jet2's latest deals.

That's because the package holidays giant has launched a huge sale with up to £500 per person over summer 2023, across hotspots in Spain (including the Canaries and Balearics), Turkey, France, Greece, Portugal and Croatia.

The deals are available on a whole host of different breaks whether you're looking for an all-inclusive week by the beach, an adults-only retreat, or a long weekend in a new city.

The best bit is that the offers are valid for stays from now until October 31, so there's amply opportunity to snap up a bargain whether you're tied to school holidays or not.

You can already book the discounted holidays on Jet2holidays.com but you'll need to do so by May 15 when the sale ends.

They're not the only bargains that Jet2 is offering families.

The brand's airline, Jet2.com has also launched a sale with up to 10% off all flights booked for the same period, to a host of popular destinations in Spain, Turkey, Italy and Greece.

When we took a look, the airline had fares under £50 each way to Majorca, Barcelona, Budapest, Malaga, Prague and Nice to name a few.

Of course Brits heading abroad this summer may want to take note of a series of bizarre tourist rules including a ban on selfies and swearing.

For example the Mayor of Positano, a famous town on Italy's Amalfi Coast, has introduced red zones as of Easter weekend, prohibiting tourists from lingering at some of its most popular locations.

Tourists caught staying for too long to take pictures of the scenery could be fined 275 euros.

  • Tourists mistakenly told Welsh national park has 'evil, milk trees and sex areas'

Luckily, the rules are only in place between 10:30 am and 6 pm, so they lift in time to catch the region's breathtaking sunsets.

Earlier this year Amsterdam announced that it was asking British men aged 18 to 30 to “stay away” from the city, while Lanzarote said it was aiming to attract “higher quality” German tourists rather than loud and low-spending Brits.

Meanwhile Bali recently announced it will release a guidebook to tourists so nobody breaks local rules after an influencer was caught posing naked with a sacred tree.

For Brits planning to make the most of the sun, sea and booze, it's worth noting that Spain is looking to introduce fines for drunken antics. UK holidaymakers have quite an infamous reputation – and Spanish locals even have an offensive code word they use to talk about British tourists.
