The cabaret originated in France in the 80s and is a well-known form of night entertainment featuring singing and acting performances, similar to a burlesque play. The London Cabaret Club attracts many British personalities who want to enjoy a different kind of evening.

Express.co.uk spoke with The London Cabaret Club CEOs, Doni Fierro and Evelina Girling, to find out what makes the London venue different from other burlesque clubs.

Former dancer Doni explained that, unlike other cabarets, theirs doesn’t show any explicit nudity. That is so people of any age can attend and enjoy the shows without feeling offended or uncomfortable.

“We are very proud of this. The Cabaret has a reputation for burlesque, nudity and all that.

“And we are very proud to be a decent show where we put art on the stage and we respect our dancers.

“Obviously it is a bit sensual but we are not based in nudity or showing sexuality.

“We have been criticised for not being like that but we are proud of that because everybody can come and enjoy the show without feeling offended,” Doni explained.

With many Britons opting for staycations this year, some might want to enjoy an exciting summer break in the capital.

But why should people choose the “cheeky” show instead of a West End performance when visiting London?

“We love the shows in the West End, but they are too long and you only have 10 minutes to have a plastic glass of wine.

“We like to have a bit of chat between to show, have dinner at the same time you enjoy the performance,” Doni explained.

He continued: “All our dancers have been trained in schools to be West End dancers, and they love being here.

“We might not have the big production of the West End, but we give decent and good production shows, with good dinner and a beautiful service.”

The London Cabaret Club has hosted many charity events where some big personalities, including MPs have been seen attending the show.

“We have celebrities all the time.

“We had some MPs here because we have hosted shows for the tori parties.

“We have had some royals here as well.

“Princess Beatrice came for some of our charity events and she was here recently.

“Janet Jackson came for another big charity event,” Evelina explained.

Britons who visit the London Cabaret on the weekends will enjoy their special evening shows – including London Never Dies or Carnival Show – and who knows, maybe even bump into a royal guest.
